On this page you will find pictures of some of the kinds of replacement oil tanks we supply and examples of the kinds of work that we do.

Installation of a plastic bunded tank on a reinforced concrete base
This unsightly 250 gallon steel tank needed replacing but due to building regulations the new tank could not be installed in the same location. In consultation with the customer a new location for the tank was chosen. The ground conditions mean that a reinforced concrete slab was required. The correct height was achieved by using a concrete block and slab plinth. A bunded (double skin) plastic tank was installed to comply with building regulations. The installation was completed by digging a trench for a new oil line to the boiler.
Installation of a slimline plastic bunded tank on a compacted slab base
This leaking tank took up most of the space in a small garden, and access to replacing it was very restricted. A better location for the new tank was chosen. Soil conditions allowed for a slab base to be laid over a compacted sub-base. Close proximity to a manhole cover meant that a bunded tank was required. The dimensions of this tank meant that the restricted access was not a problem.
Other examples of our work
We installed this Titan Bunded BT 2500 at Felixstowe Docks on a new purpose made steel tank stand and paving flag base. In some cases a steel tank is a more cost effective option, particularly if the tank can make use of the existing support piers. This vertical plastic tank has a small footprint – useful for where space is at a premium.
